HB-ITP-015 - Precast Concrete

Article summary

ITP-015 is a generic document to be modified for each job (copy at rear of this document) – this has been created as a document in Aconex

Purpose is to record the various steps of the precast install and maintain adequate photographic records of the works and acceptance sign offs by the structural engineer.

The marking plan should be used to create ‘lot plans’ for the installation each day so its clear what ‘batch’ of precast elements are included on the ITP

This is critical to identify which elements are included in a pass or fail once the crush tests on the grout are provided at 7 and 28 days. If there is a failure, we know which elements are affected. Allows us to address the ‘affected’ works only.

The site supervisor and subcontractor (as applicable) need to maintain this plan and associated ITP’s that site below. A copy of the marked up marking plan should be photographed and added to the ITP for visual record.

Ensure suitable supervision is provided to the install and keep records of each install and to make sure the subcontractor (where applicable) or HB installation resources are completing the records on each panel for the ITP for the batch or per day.

Ensure all birth certificates and engineering inspections are attached to the ITP

Examples of the detailed extent of records that should be kept are as below;
