National Construction Code
The National Construction Code (NCC) is Australia’s primary set of technical design and construction provisions for buildings. It was previously known as the Building Code of Australia (BCA) — not to be confused with Building Code 2016 which is unrelated.
As a performance-based code, it sets the minimum required level for the safety, health, amenity, accessibility and sustainability of certain buildings. The Australian Building Codes Board, on behalf of the Australian Government and each State and Territory government, produces and maintains the National Construction Code.
Australian Standards
Standards Australia is the nation's leading non-governmental, not-for-profit standards organisation facilitating the development of new and existing Australian Standards across a variety of sectors, as well as the adoption of international Standards.

Construction Dictionary
The National Dictionary of Building and Plumbing Terms combines terms and definitions from the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards (AS) referenced in the NCC, and the Property Council of Australia's (PCA) Handbook 50:2004 Glossary of Building Terms (HB50).
This tool can be publicly accessed by anyone and aims to help industry find the right definition, highlight consistency and conflicts, and provide a general hierarchy of results to assist interpretation.
